What made you decide to pursue a career in music? 
Love of Music and Playing Double Bass

What has been the highlight of your career thus far? 
Performing Also Sprach Zarazustra with Seji Ozawa and the Boston Symphony

 What made you choose to play the double bass? 
My Dad picked it out for me.

What’s the most challenging thing about playing the double bass?
Moving it.

Do you have a favorite piece of orchestral repertoire to play and/or listen to? 
To Play: Nutcracker Ballet. To listen to, 1977 Star Wars Movie Soundtrack

When you’re not performing, what do you do for fun? 
Gardening, coin collecting, model trains.

What’s one thing you hope people take away from a DSSO concert? 
The thrill of live music.

Do you have any advice for those looking to pursue a career in music? 
Commit 100%, be flexible, listen to as much music as you can, and be well rested.
