Join the DSSO’s celebration of American music with this fantastic concert, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Rhapsody in Blue. Internationally renowned pianist Jeffrey Biegel will bring Gershwin’s iconic piece of life, alongside the Minnesota premiere of Peter Boyer’s Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue, a brand new work paying homage to Gershwin. Also on the program, the “father” of American music, Antonin Dvorak, with his American Suite and Samuel Barber’s Symphony No.1.
