Concertmaster, professor, rock star: Erin Aldridge does it all

We’re proud to share a wonderful Duluth News Tribune feature on Erin Aldridge, who marks her 20th season as the DSSO’s Concertmaster this year. The article celebrates her remarkable career as a performer, professor, and musician who brings passion and artistry to everything she does.

Erin talks about what it’s meant to lead the orchestra for two decades, her love of the Twin Ports music community, and the joy she finds in balancing performance, teaching, and family life. She also shares a look ahead to this season’s solo performances — including Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in May.

It’s a great read, and a wonderful way to celebrate this milestone with her.
