*** COVID PROGRAM IMPACT ***
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DSSYO program will be held virtually beginning in September through December 2020. We will re-evaluate the status at that time and determine whether to continue in this manner or to begin to do some form of hybrid virtual/in-person rehearsals. The virtual program will offer regular sessions with conductors and coaches, working toward building our sense of community and improving musicianship with performance goals. Please be assured that the health and safety of all DSSYO members and staff are of paramount importance, and all decisions will be made in that context. Program details, including updated tuition rates, will be sent out in August to members accepted into the program.
Join us for our 80th Anniversary Season!

The DSSYO wants you! Auditions are being accepted in online format for the 20-21 season. The deadline to submit an application and audition video is July 6, 2020. After July 6, applications and auditions will be accepted according to need.
Should I audition?
If you are between the ages of 10 and 18 and enjoy performing quality music at a high level with others, we highly encourage you to audition! We hope that Youth Orchestras will not only be fun, but help you become the best musician you can. The Sinfonia program is open to all string players, no audition needed.
