The DSSO will work with you to create a customized benefits package to meet your organizational needs. The levels and opportunities outlined below reflect the very minimum you can expect from your DSSO sponsorship investment.

Concert Sponsor

Exclusive sponsorship of a DSSO season concert on the ALLETE stage at the Symphony Hall at the DECC.

Benefits include:

  • Print: Prominent display of name and/or logo on four-color season subscription brochure, direct mail, all single ticket advertising, backlit displays, concert program page, and lobby posters at the sponsored concert.
  • Recognition: Multiple mentions in program books throughout the year. Examples may include, but are not limited to, Corporate Spotlight, Honor Roll of Contributors, Calendar of Events, and thank you from stage.
  • Media: Sponsor name and/or logo incorporated in all newspaper, magazine, radio and television advertising for the sponsored concert.
  • Email: Multiple DSSO e-mail newsletter credits promoting the sponsored concert.
  • Website: Official concert sponsor listing on the DSSO website and hyper-link to sponsor website.
  • Products/Services: Opportunity to display sponsor’s product/service at the sponsored concert (samples, giveaways, coupons, display table in lobby, etc.).
  • Tickets: Thirty (30) Platinum Level seating ($1,650 value) to the sponsored concert and the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at a 25% discount.
  • Advertising: 10% discount on full season program book advertising placement.

Additional Benefit Options

  • Event: The opportunity to present an event* at the DECC, for your group (open rehearsals, or pre- or post-concert events, allow a behind the scenes look at the orchestra and the upcoming concert). We will introduce you and your group to our conductor, guest artist and a few members of the orchestra to mix and mingle with your group. * Cost for food and drink is sponsor’s responsibility.
  • Post-concert: Four (4) invitations to the post-concert meet and greet reception with conductor and/or guest artist(s).
  • Fundraiser: 25% discount on corporate table at DSSO annual fundraising gala.

  • Tickets: Twenty (20) Gold Level seating ($900 value) to the shared sponsored concert and the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at a 25% discount.
  • Advertising: 10% discount on full season program book advertising placement.

"Tune-Up Party" Season Kick-Off Sponsorship

Fall: The annual Tune-Up Party is the official kick-off event to our symphony season. This event is marketed to over 4,000 identified households as a ticketed event (DSSO donors receive a complimentary invitation).

Benefits include:

  • Prominent display of name and/or logo on invitations and in Symphony Program Book, event signage, and table cards
  • Program Book recognition in Corporate and Foundation Supporters portion
  • Email newsletter promotion and website link
  • Ten (10) complimentary tickets to the Tune-Up Party ($200 value)

"Behind the Music" Pre-Concert Discussion Sponsorship

The Duluth Superior Symphony will credit you with sponsorship of the seven Behind the Music classical pre-concert discussions. As the official sponsor, any reference to classical pre-concert discussions will include your name and/or logo whenever possible. Sponsorship benefits and recognition opportunities include:

  • Print: Multiple mentions in program books throughout the year. Examples may include, but are not limited to, Corporate Spotlight, Honor Roll of Contributors, etc. Your name and logo will be given exclusive placement on Event Signage recognizing your support at seven (7) classical pre-concert talks and a thank you by Behind the Music host at each pre-concert talk
  • Email: Multiple DSSO e-mail newsletter credits promoting the pre-concert discussions
  • Website: Website credits promoting the pre-concert discussions and hyperlink to sponsor website
  • Products/Services: Opportunities to display sponsor’s product/service (samples, giveaways, coupons, etc.)
  • Tickets: Ten (10) Gold Level ticket vouchers for any concert of your choice ($450 value)

Pops Series Sponsorship

As the Pops Series sponsor, any reference to the Series will include your name and logo whenever possible. Sponsorship benefits and recognition opportunities will include three DSSO Pops Concerts.

Benefits include:

  • Print: Prominent display of name and/or logo on four-color season subscription brochure, direct mail, all single ticket advertising, backlit displays, program books, concert program page, and promotional posters at the sponsored concerts within the Series.
  • Recognition: Multiple mentions in program books throughout the year. Examples may include, but are not limited to, Corporate Spotlight, Honor Roll of Contributors, Calendar of Events, and thank you from stage.
  • Media: Recognition on all newspaper, magazine, and television advertising for the sponsored Series concerts.
  • Website: Official “Pops Series Sponsor” recognition on the DSSO website and hyperlink to sponsor website.
  • Email: Multiple DSSO e-mail newsletter credits promoting the sponsored concerts within the Series.
  • Tickets: A total of thirty (30) Gold Level seating ($1,350 value) ticket vouchers to be used for any sponsored Pops concert.
  • Advertising: 10% discount on full season program book advertising placement.
  • Fundraiser: 50% discount on corporate table at DSSO annual fundraising gala.

Youth Orchestras Sponsorship

As the official sponsor, any reference to the youth orchestras concerts will include your name and/or logo whenever possible for the three Youth Orchestras performances.

Benefits include:

  • Print: Prominent display of name and/or logo on four-color season subscription brochure, direct mail, all single ticket advertising, backlit displays, concert program page, and lobby posters at the sponsored concert.
  • Recognition: Multiple mentions in program books throughout the year. Examples may include, but are not limited to, Corporate Spotlight, Honor Roll of Contributors, Calendar of Events, and thank you from stage.
  • Media: Three DSSO-produced ads in concert program books promoting Youth Orchestras programs and concerts, four-color Lollipop Concert flyer distribution to area school children.
  • Email: Multiple DSSO e-mail newsletter credits promoting your sponsored concerts.
  • Website: Website credit promoting your sponsored concerts.
  • Tickets: Sponsor logo and name placement on all Spring and Fall Youth Orchestras concert tickets and Audition brochure; tickets to all sponsored concerts (amount to be mutually agreed to).
  • Advertising: 10% discount on full season program book advertising placement.
